| Prof. Latos-Grazynski is recognized world wide as a chemist, whose research field comprises very broad all sections of chemical sciences. Synthesis of novel porphyrin pigments with inverted structures and with iron in high oxidation states originated from his pioneering scientific work. These pigments are important for understanding metabolic processes and are of interest for medical diagnostic. |
